I loved this slightly more than the first book, The Pumpkin Spice Cafe (I still hate the cafe name). I skipped the second one in the series since it was the holidays, and I needed a holiday book. Luckily, you can read all these as standalone, and I loved reading about Bennett and Kira. While I didn’t fall in love with the characters instantly, I enjoyed slowly getting to know them. It was a fun, cozy read.

(Slight spoilers ahead) I would have preferred seeing Bennett and Kira on their own for a while before reuniting and becoming a couple; seeing them grow more individually would have been a benefit. I also would have loved to see Bennett fall in love with the town. I don’t know if that's shown in the book before this one, but I didn’t feel like he really cared to live there besides family and Kira reasons. He didn’t seem to love the town like his sister.
