Erotic by Elizabeth Knox, J.H. Wolfe
4.0
This book is the first in the Sons of Gods MC series. It starts off the series with lots of drama.
Navy vet Callista is looking for answers about her father, who left the family while she was young. Callista's mother will only say he was in a motorcycle club, so Callista hires a private investigator to follow up. She locates her father's club in Alabama. He is the president of the club.
Callista takes a job at a bar near the club and starts referring to herself as Cali. One of her roomate's brother brings his friend Connor, a pledge at the club. Connor and Cali instantly connect. They begin a relationship which brings Cali to the club, where she finally meets her father. However, when Cali's identity is revealed, Connor thinks their relationship was only a way for Cali to get close to her father and feels very betrayed.
To further complicate things, a biker from another club sets his sights on Cali...and doesn't care that she doesn't feel the same.
The ending to this book is a tense cliffhanger.
