I don't even know how to rate this. Much to my surprise, it wasn't a DNF. The main character reminded me far too much of my 16-year-old self, and I felt a constant, low-level background stress throughout the book. The teenage raging at the world was exhausting. I knew it ended on a cliffhanger, but I didn't think it would push me to pick up book two, but now I kind of feel I have to. I hope it's shorter.
