I was disappointed.

Mostly I was disappointed in the spice. It was no where near as spicy as I thought it’d be & barely dipped a toe into the “power exchange” kink.

I thought their relationship could have had more depth & less of him immediately “understanding” her. It didn’t feel natural.

BUT, it is Ali Hazelwood & she immediately had me sucked into the story & blushing repeatedly in the beginning. I just wish it escalated.
