Wow, this did not work for me. I thought the first volume was funny, the second started raising flags for me, and this one just got worse. Toward the end there’s a rape scene where the main character basically lies back and thinks of England because his submission will literally save the world, and then somehow it’s a love story after that? I’m not familiar with the books this novel is riffing on so possibly I’m just not in on the joke, but this gets a giant NOPE from me.
