Treacherous Is the Night by Anna Lee Huber
2.0
I’d probably like these books more if Sidney wasn’t an insufferable guy for most of them. For someone who pretended to be dead for FIFTEEN MONTHS and left his wife mourning, he sure is insensitive and callous to his wife for literally doing anything; especially when it pertains to her war time job as a spy. I get that he’s struggling and went through a major world war and saw and did horrible things, but ugh, he’s so dense.
I honestly can’t stand him and won’t continue the series because of him. Verity is always apologizing to him and I’m like girl, he sucks. Also this attempted love triangle with Max is just sad.
