so much philosophical talk, which would be tedious in any other context…such good humor though. i feel like everyone is teaching chekhov wrong, talking “chekhov’s gun, blah blah blah.” there’s so much more here that my professors never touch on, like the balance of absurd and the mundane. chekhov an absurdist? i’m boarding that train. 

i love how horses act as the marker of a true exit. it’s only over when you hear the horses.
