I loved this cozy read! Now I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series, but you honestly don’t need to. *ahem* But maybe you should because that’s what normal people do. Anyhoo, back to Beyond Her Calling, which hello, love the title too. I found a piece of myself in all the MC’s and most of the side characters as well. Ivy was just so sweet, and I related to her struggle of feeling useful. If you’re a 3, you definitely will too. Jordy was the perfect personification of my inner adventurer. His arc of grace was so beautiful as well. Violet is my dark, cynical side. I cannot wait to see how she grows. The story flows nicely. A bit slower than I usually go for, but the depth makes up the difference I think. Who doesn’t need a cozy Scottish vibe every now and then? So bottom line, five stars from me! Now I’m gonna go wait for Book 5.
