I feel like people went into this book expecting literature. If that's what you're looking for, you won't find it and will definitely be disappointed. Yes, sometimes things are a little too easy, and some of the dialogue doesn't ring entirely realistic, but if you like the fated mates trope and are looking for some fun brain candy, this is a solid choice. I'm looking forward to reading the second one.
