Diary of a Pint-Sized Farmer: A Year of Keeping Sheep, Raising Kids and Staying Sane by Sally Urwin

4.0

Gosh, I enjoyed this. I've missed the farming memoirs of 5 years ago, and I loved to see one from a British point of view. Sally is funny, honest and extremely down-to-earth. The diary format works really well to capture a year-in-the-life, and I loved her frank discussions about mental health, money struggles, and why the farming life is still so appealing despite the sometimes crazy demands it puts on their family. A really lovely, engaging read.
