Tom Lake wasn't a quick read, but it was the kind that seeps into your soul. With each page, I fell deeper into Lara's family, longing to feel the sun on my skin and dirt under my fingernails as I joined them in the orchard! 
The novel was a cherry flavor gentle unfolding of stories, that helped me savor each character and connection.
