This is one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever read. The beginning was extremely slow and I didn’t care for the plot until a decent way into the book. However, Klune’s humor and style kept me reading, and I’m so glad I did. As someone who lost a loved one recently, this was painful to read at times. But I learned about grief and acceptance of our past mistakes. I’m not sure this grief will ever leave me, but through this book, I remembered that grief doesn’t have to destroy me. I can have regrets and still grow.
