Definitely my favorite book so far in the series! The plot really picked up a lot in this one! I was so stressed at times.

It was great being back in Rifthold with Celaena, now as Aelin, and taking to her role as Queen. I loved watching her work Chaol throughout the story. My heart was breaking for Dorian this entire book. I could not handle it at all. I love that Manon’s story finally crossed with the others and I’m so interested to see where it goes from here! I was waiting to see when and how this would happen.

I love Aelin and Rowan’s bond so much. Ugh. Their slow burn right now is everything.

Finally, that ending scene and the destroying of the palace I was so nervous! I did not know what to expect! I’m so happy to see Dorian free from that collar and being controlled by the demon. Also, that information the King told Dorian and Aelin before he died?! Like what????
