My Name is Adam: Children of the Ghetto Volume I by Elias Khoury

I loved this book. This was a stunning exploration of the ways trauma affects memory, especially when a core belief about yourself gets challenged as an adult. I also thought that there was great nuance in the way he writes about Palestinians and Jewish people. Looking forward to reading more by Khoury.
