Happy Place by Emily Henry
5.0
This book made me feel so many things. To categorise this book as just “romance” is such an understatement. Every single character in this book is developed and adds to the plot unfolding. The beginning starts off a bit awkward and bumpy (just in my opinion), but the simmer turns into a full boil towards the middle and end of the book. I think any reader can find something/someone to relate to in this book and take away some serious thoughts to ponder. I was pleasantly surprised, as this was my first Emily Henry read. I was expecting nothing and was taking aback by some great writing. It was fun and had depth at the same time. What a great and balanced read. Highly recommend!
