Not my favorite from Maya Nicole. The story is pretty interesting, but the male characters don’t feel real at all. Especially Zane. Even with his characterization/past he felt a little over the top. It probably doesn’t help that I listened to this one on audio because the male narrator made the guys sound kinda goofy. The plot could have used a more robust timeline and a little more fleshing out. Everything happens too quickly and the villain feels a bit cartoonish.
