Aiden by Melanie Moreland

5.0

Aiden had a very rough childhood with abusive and unloving parents. Along with his dyslexia, he's convinced that he's not worthy of love, and he's terrified of feeling it for anyone else.

Cami was basically raised by her sister Dee, and they're both strong, intelligent women. When Cami's best friend fell for Bentley (book 1), Cami was overwhelmingly attracted to the strong and broody Aiden.

Aiden doesn't want to hurt Cami, but he keeps pushing her away anytime he thinks she's getting too close to his heart. But when she's threatened by a stalker, his protective nature overcomes his fear.
