Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe

Some books are just important.  This book is one of them. I think that graphic novels are perhaps one of the coolest forms a a memoir can take. (You get to literally see things from the subject’s perspective!) Maia’s story felt so personal to me. Eir work is vulnerable and brave. After reading this I felt like I knew em. I’m absolutely better for it. A must read for sure.
