The Midnight Line: A Jack Reacher Novel by Lee Child

4.0

Lots of reviews already to give you the lowdown on plot, etc. Somewhere along the way I missed a few books so when this came out I decided it was time to catch up with Reacher. So glad I did as this is one of the best of the series. It all begins with a ring in a pawn shop. Add engaging characters & a twisty plot & before you know it, you're well & truly hooked. It's just so damn readable.
So there's life in the old guy yet. The stories are different & characters come & go but one thing that doesn't change is how I feel at the end....satisfied but a little sad as Reacher & his toothbrush walk away to hitch a ride toward the next adventure.
