Hercule Poirot's Christmas by Agatha Christie

5.0

I love a good, gory murder mystery, and this Agatha Christie novel did not disappoint. I really enjoyed the wide variety in the cast of characters and how distinct each one was. The holiday atmosphere and family drama were so fun, and you can’t go wrong with a mix of both reliable and unreliable narrators. I can usually smell a plot twist a mile away, but most of the time Christie always surprises me which I adore. This was such a great read full of secrets, morally grey characters, and a satisfactory resolve at the end without feeling shallow or rushed.
