Less by Andrew Sean Greer
5.0
Beautiful. I read some reviews that said it lacked plot or character development - if you're looking for a beginning, middle and end type of story then I suppose this doesn't fit. I loved that it the events of the story mostly served to offer the opportunity to get to know Arthur Less via his memories and foibles. The imagery was vivid and drenched, and the writing was clever and tight. It's not a quick read, more of one to really cuddle into.
