This book was pleasant, but slow. I find that authors writing about authors can get a little flowery and caught-up in pretty sentences rather than story telling. This book was true to that form. It was a little inception-ey in that way. It was a story written by an male author who lives in San Francisco/Tuscany about a male author who lives in SF and travels to other countries, who himself writes about a male who lives in SF.
