This book will send you in a whirlwind of emotions.
It starts off tense and thriller-like, with the main characters mysteriously stranded on a malfunctioning spaceship, fighting for their lives.
Then it gets lighthearted, as you begin to think that the conversations and events on the ship are too perfect / slash convenient for real life and stop treating them seriously.
Then it gets tense and sad and tragic and hopeless.
And finishes offon a hopeful note, I guess? but it's still a pick-your-reality ending (although it's not the most tragic, fortunately; I hate tearjerker endings)
And has funny bits sprinkled throughout.
Was that a love story? critique on capitalism? dystopian reality tv future? dystopian -- arh, I don't know? a comment on the meaninglessness and the meaningfulness of our lives?
Either way, it was more than I expected.
