I have so many feelings about this. I loved it and I hated it. So many things could be, and have been, said elsewhere about the themes of violence and emotional manipulation and torture and loss of innocence. It did start off slow, but the last 25-30% was just my head constantly exploding, even though I knew the basics because of the Lifetime adaptation.
