Saving Dancer by Jordan Marie
5.0
I am a big fan of Jordan Marie. Breaking Dragon was fantastic read, and was counting down to Saving Dancer. Jordan Marie kept saying how difficult it was to write this book, what a challenge it is, and I didn't understand. I do now. It was addictive. It was traumatizing. It was full of love. It was full of hate. It was full of grief. It was full of revenge, the worst of all evils. Carrie has loved Jacob Blake (Dancer) since she was five. She went after that love at 18, setting off a chain of events that almost destroys everyone. Finally released, Dancer is a shadow of his former self, destroyed by his experiences in prison. The club is protecting Carrie from an unknown evil. Now that Dancer is free he feels the need to protect her, but blames her for the past. Dancer wants to love her, but hates her. He will battle with many emotions, memories, bad dreams, and desires. This is a story of conflict and resolution. This the story that shows that there is a fine line between love and hate. The question is what path with Dancer take.
