How to Keep Your Cool: An Ancient Guide to Anger Management by Lucius Annaeus Seneca

informative lighthearted reflective medium-paced

Here we have Seneca back to his same old shenanigans. I did like that this book was significantly less preachy than the book on death. I liked the anecdotes he used to illustrate his points and I think that he makes a compelling argument. It may be coloring my review that I already agree with much of what he said about temperance and self regulation before starting the book. Overall I enjoyed this and think it a marked improvement on other writings of his which I have read. I think the editor/modern author also really nailed the landing with his selections and points this go around.
