3.3 stars.
This was really disappointing, honestly.
I loved the humor, and banter, and how badass the FMC is.
And I really liked the interactions she had with her ‘flight’.
But the authors note at the beginning said that the plot line for characters in this book would finish at the end even if there was an opening for things to continue with the other characters in the next book.
And that’s just not even remotely true.
Yes. They shifted.
But the romance part of this romance was absolute shit. I was skimming pages pretty hard by the last third of the book.
We got a total of 4 steamy scenes. The first was from outside and we only saw a tiny snippet as they walked in on them.
The second was vague as shit and completely anticlimactic.
The third was the only ok one and it was still mediocre at best.
And the last one was just a tactic to get out of a mess and didn’t go anywhere.
And all but the last one happened with 2/3 of the guys.
So fucking frustrating.

I think I’m done with this author honestly.
I just don’t like big chunks of her books for a couple reasons so it seems like it’s just not worth it, for me.
