Beatriz Williams is one of my favourite authors and this latest is outstanding! Her usual prowess with voice and dialogue is on brilliant display and the setting is so vibrant and atmospheric it's a character all on its own. I read it in 2 sittings, swept away into the world of class struggles, affairs, and intrigue. Fans of Williams will be thrilled with this latest spellbinding story!
