3.5 stars. The writing was good. When the POV switched, the voices sounded different.

I wanted to read this bc it was described as a polyamorous V relationship. But I didn’t quite love the dynamic bc it was as still hierarchical.

I will read more in this series but I was a touch creeped out by the idea of a family all involved in BDSM. But maybe that’s my own sex negativity.

The bdsm seemed very light in this book, and all the education of the newbie Domme was off page, which I found a bit disappointing.

Also this book has a cop for a main character, and I try to avoid those generally.
