The gorgeous cover drew me in to this one, as well as the author's status as an Aussie debut. I really enjoyed the world that emerged as the plot progressed as well as the love story that turned a lot more steamy than I'd anticipated (like, seriously).

Whilst I wasn't always a huge fan of the writing style (the plethora of subjectless sentences really got to me), I am invested in the story and will definitely keep an eye out for the next instalment.
