What an ending to this series. I was stressed the entire book. I had no ideas or theories of how this was all going to end. This was a satisfying ending to this series and was concluded perfectly. I like where all of the characters ended off… finally with some peace.

Following along the journey from Celaena Sardothien to Aelin Galathynius, Assassin to Queen, there was such a joy to see Aelin claim her rightful place on the throne as the Queen of Terrasen. That scene was great to read.

The battles throughout KOA were told very well and really gave you a descriptive visual of what the actual battle was like. I was very entertained reading the battles scenes in this one!

The characters I highly enjoyed all of them as we met and learned more about each of them. I liked how every character’s arc some how intertwined with each other by the end. I think SJM tied all their stories together very well. They all flowed seamlessly into each other. Across the seven books, the story also flowed really well. There was a purpose to everything and everything served as a point to move the plot toward our finale.

There are so many characters in this world that I thought it would get overwhelming. But, due to their stories flowing together very well it never got confusing at all. I always knew who was who and what each person was up to.

I will say that when Aelin, Dorian, and Chaol said their good he’s in KOA, I did tear up. I really came to love these three a lot by the end of the series. I love how well they all bonded as friends post each boys having their moments as more with Aelin. Dorian definitely was my favorite.

I listened to the books via audio while reading along with the either the physical or ebook and had a great experience! The narrator is absolutely fantastic for these books and kept me entertained throughout.

I enjoyed my time reading these books and being in this world.
