Wow. Just an incredible book. Complex, beautiful characters; a horrifying setting; and a story of unimaginable resilience, perseverance and strength. The author does an incredible job doing a multiple POV book, while exploring the importance of storytelling, community and spirituality even in the darkest of places. I was sitting on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened but also afraid of what was going to happen. An absolute must-read.
