Mostly plot driven so I didn’t feel very attached or resonated with the main characters. Honestly thought the main characters were too good to be true for a story set in 1920s India but it was still an interesting read to get an insight into what life was like then in Bombay. The murder mystery aspect wasn’t as thrilling as I had hoped it would be. It was a bit predictable and not very shocking.
