I was looking for a fun, steamy firefighter romance.. and I didn’t realize this one was so focused on grief.
It was a fairly good read, but it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I’m not one to judge how anyone copes with grief, but I just didn’t love how the FMC essentially used the MMC’s body to help her feel something. They lost me at her “blank stare” (or however it was described.)
