This was a good surprise- the start was a bit slow and rocky, but by the middle, I was in the thick of the story and racing to get through. The story was interesting with the character development and also such an interesting perspective on food and Japanese culture/day-to-day life. At points, the audio was a bit confusing just because there are no chapter titles- so was a little confused by abrupt time skips/TOV changes/perspective switches, but overall very compelling and interesting. There are also so gory/squirmish-y bits that made me feel a bit sick (describing scabs and blood) so beware if you are sensitive too!
