There was just enough humor to remind me this was a story about young adults but Stiefvater’s prose was also so beautiful; the woods, stream, and trees described so well that I felt I was there.
Although there is a plot to this book, finding the ley lines to wake the king, this was mostly a character driven story and that’s okay because I really loved these characters. I felt meshed into their lives, especially Adam’s life. 😭 Gansey was a sweetheart and Ronan was growing on me,reaching his peak when he beat on Adam’s dad. It looks like the next book is about him. I’m looking forward to reading more about him and what this dreaming is Also, I want to know what happens to Adam. He really had my heart in this book.
