SWIM: The astonishing tale of Lucy Morton by Lisa Brace

Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.
Struggled with this. It’s a good story at heart but it needed tighter editing (think it was self published).

There’s a 10 year old girl who seems to work in a bank, and the same suffragette has died under the King’s horse two months in a row.

Such a shame. I really wanted to enjoy it, it looked like it had some things to say and a good story to tell.

It’s just defeated me with its awkwardness.

A rare DNF for me.
