It hurts to read

Sad to say this was a great story but it was. Especially if you have experienced any type of abuse growing up. It draws you in and you feel like you are suddenly aware that they're people in the world who hurt just like you.
I'm conflicted with the ending but I'll finish the series for sure. Maybe then I will get my answers.
