McFadden NEVER (at least not in the 3-4 books of hers I’ve read) disappoints! This was the crazy wild ride I was hoping for. I just didn’t know I’d devour it in a day. But, in my defense, it’s one of her shorter works.

I’m gonna start calling McFadden the ‘Queen of the Red Herring Court’! She gives us so much to sort and you KNOW half of it is straight bs, but there is enough truth that when she reveals her twists, your head does an Exorcist swivel!!

I don’t even try to figure it out, although you kinda can’t help it. She gives you enough clues for you to naturally try to formulate what the hell is going on. And lemme tell you, 7/8ths of all my theories were so off!
