I actually think I would have really enjoyed this book back when it was published. I still enjoy reading it now. Unfortunately while I would have rated it as informative in 2009, it has aged a lot in the 15 years since it was written (even though a some of their ideas have ultimately been accepted). I can't recommend it however as this field has moved so far forward since it was written ze(for example the sequencing of the neanderthal genome) . People interested in these topics should look into more recently published works.
