It's hard to formulate words about how this book made me feel and what I think of it. But here I go.
There wasn't really a discernable plot, rather, whimsical vignettes of what it is to own/be a cat. There were endearing moments, and having read that the writer is originally a poet, the style of writing makes more sense to me. It just unfortunately did not then work to me as a novel, but I can see how it might for others.
