Closer to 3.5 stars. This book was fun and I enjoyed the characters and getting more Dragon Age. But it felt a bit... shallow, for lack of a better word and it didn't always feel like the relationships were earned (especially the romances). Also, it is clearly a spin-off and won't make much sense to anyone without a basic familiarity with Dragon Age before starting it.
