Michael Curtiz: A Life in Film by Alan K. Rode

4.0

This is a very thorough, very well researched biography. In general, I like Hollywood bios to write a lot about the films with which the subject was involved and this one did, but unfortunately, this is a rather dry read. As Curtiz himself was far from a boring guy, I find this a fault of the book. Still, interesting if you like old movies.
