I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I read with a book club on Tik Tok and honestly didn't know what to expect, but I instantly fell in love. It's an incredibly fast paced novel, that you can easily get swept up in. The characters are well developed, interesting, and well integrated into the plot. I loved that there were multiple perspectives that the book was told from in this book. I wish the history of the land and the magic system had been fleshed out a little more. There were a couple questions I had during reading, that never got answered. Overall, though for a debut novel, it's fantastic! I can't wait for the next book to come out!
