The Sunlit Night by Rebecca Dinerstein Knight
2.0
I would give this book a 2.5 because it redeemed itself at the end, and I also really enjoyed the book's setting. However, I found much of the narration to be dull, and the two main characters (Frances and Yasha) didn't seem to be developed to the point that they should have been. Overall, I would call this a cute book that deals with the ideas of life, love, change, and death; I just think it could have gone a bit deeper.
