A Winter Kiss on Rochester Mews by Annie Darling

3.0

A perfectly pleasant read (really a 3.5). Mattie runs the tea shops attached to Happy Ever After, a romance book shop; Tom works at the shop, and has been a mystery to his coworkers for years. They wind up sharing the flat above the shop. Neither like Christmas, and neither have seemed to like the other. Naturally they wind up falling for each other.

I wish more time had been spent with Tom. The other books in the series also don't spend much time with the male lead, but since Tom is also a HEA staff member, I feel like we could've seen more from his point of view. There was a lot of banter and the characterizations made sense; I wish we had spent a bit more time of them curled up on the couch together to make the romance click a bit more for me.

Still, an enjoyable book and a lovely end to the series.
