The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

This was spectacular. I spent the month of October savouring this read because otherwise I fear I would’ve devoured it within a few days. I adored Addie - she was cunning, stubborn, and a great protagonist for this story. I genuinely enjoyed traipsing through the story with her and following her over the harrowing 300 year journey that she endured. The writing was beautiful and full of whimsy - I will 100% be checking out other books by V. E. Schwab because this was fantastic!

I would say more but I risk spoiling the plot, so just know that I adored this and cannot wait to read this again in the future. This is easily a new favourite and I cannot believe it took 4 years(!!) of this book being out for me to finally read it.
