This book hooked me from the first page, from beginning to end. Everything just went by and I wanted to know more. I loved the combination of folklore and the real world makes me think of ‘Little Darlings.’ I really loved the back and forth between future and past. As well as the eyes of the younger main character. It wrapped up in an interesting way. Definitely breezed through it much like‘Confessions.’ But it’s also fun when the main character loves to read as well and quotes text from it as well. That’s it for this book that I couldn’t put down and I’m glad that I tried t. Mostly StoryGraph recommended it to me.
