This book balances its sincerity and passion with an actual ear for poetry and skill for the craft. It swings back and forth between love and heartbreak, often within the same poem, and is just a very genuinely moving book. I feel a little bad about how scuffed up the nice cover has become, but I guess that's what happens when you take a book everywhere so you can read it slowly.
