Reichs has become more about 'comfort food' reading than what I expected. When I'm in a slump or need a break from heavy reading, I turn to Dr. Brennan. In this installment: the tension between Ryan and Tempe seemed a little forced - and there were moments I was blurry on plot points. Overall, however, it was another quick/escape read.
